I think it's important that we never forget the horrifying events of 9/11. My heart continues to reach out to the victims and families around the world that will always be affected by this horrible tragedy. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the citizens of the US that have given their time for rescue, medical aid, and the ongoing and essential investigation in the aftermath of this tragic event.
As an American, I pray for fellow American citizens to rally together to support our president, our government and the men and women of our armed forces. As the wife of an Italian citizen, I pray for solidarity of the world's nations, which will be essential to overcoming future acts of terrorism and freeing the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Tibet...and many more. As the proud mother of a United States Marine now stationed at 29 Palms, recently returned from Iraq, I pray for freedom for all people, for peace, for respect, for support, and for understanding.
